A Letter To My Sweetheart In Iraq
What is it like, in a county far away
Do you say your prayer's
I know God will bless you everyday
Is there enough food for you to eat
Are you so afraid, you can hardly speech
I promise to write a letter to you
My sweetheart, statoned in Iraq
Your heart I will hold, until you come back
Is the sand so hot, in the desert sun
It must be hard to sleep
When a bomb you find, be careful
Protect your hands and feet
I kiss you with a burning fire
Do you cry, as you read this letter
My love, is very deep
I wait here, so very safe
With peace and courage from above
I am with you in spirit,
You are my one true love.

Now And Forever
Now and forever, I will stand at your side
I am in every thing you see
I know just how much you believe in me
I am the earth you hold
I am the ocean breeze
When you see the ships
Standing tall, remember I am part of it all
Now and forever, I will see your face
The sweetest voice which is dearer than my own
I can taste the salt from your lips
For I am the dolphin flying in the air
I am everywhere
Now and forever, I am the grass, which grow so sweet
You are the most beauitful one I ever knew
I am the stars at night, the nightinggale who sing
I am in the universal, which The Lord made
So you see I have not gone
Now and forever, in my soul, I keep
The vision of you is in my spirit
Which is new, you are so close
I can touch you.
Eternity is always
I will wait at the gate
For you to come through.

Good-bye Is Not An Option
Kiss me with your heart
Let me know you are real
I will hold you in my soul
Good-bye is not an option
It never will.
I see in your eyes such love
I know I will see you again
For as the flowers and trees grow
So will my memory
Forever I will be yours
Good-bye is not an option for me
I am in a secert place
Where lover's go
I wait for the dearest one
I ever knew
My love for you can never die
Life was meant to be this way
Look for me in the clouds
I have so much love for you now
Until we meet once again
I will never fade from view
You are the love of my life
I will never stop loving you.

Will I Live To See Tomorow ? A Prayer Against Terrorize
Will I live to see tomorow For I saw your face today I will never let you take me Or lose my soul in anyway
I read about you in the papers I look at the fear in your eye's I have been on the plane of terror In the bombs
and every cry
I look at our country In a world I will not lie For I AM the people I will never die
Will I live to see tomorow I have seen brave solders Lose their lives But I pray for every man and women Children
who kneel and pray God I will never let them take my freedom Or give my soul away.
I hear the words of a great hockey player As he helped his fellowman Take back a plane Even though he would
never See his loved one's again
I see myself in flames Will I live to see tomorow For if I die, it will be in freedoms name I may see terror,
but my heart will forever live on I AM the voice of peace, And I will carry on.

A Prayer For An American Soldier
I pray to God The Father
For you most every day
That you will find your way back to me
Completely whole, in every way
I pray for an American Soldier
One who is the dearest I know
That in the hot desert heat
He remembers, I love him so
He is one of many, who fights for the freedom we do know
I pray to The Heavenly Father, with teardrops in my eyes
Please do not let terror touch him,
No guns or bomb, he sees
I know he will not come back the same
Yet let him come back to me
One prayer for an American Soldier, who is so very brave
Dear Lord, liston to my loving prayer and help him be strong
I know you can hear me, though far away, you be
I give you all that I am, if only You can bring him back to me
I pray for an American Soldier, who is good and kind
In a land where life is cheap, fighting for love of county in The USA
May all American Soldiers, kept within my heart
Holy Father, I pray, give me back my true love
Weary, body, mind and soul
Take care of him, help him come out of the fire
And once again be whole.

Please Touch Me
Please touch me, though you are so far away
Please hold me, tomorrow, I hope you will stay
Please give me, the sun, the moon and the stars
Across the land and sea
I know in my heart you are not far.
I feel a gentle breeze, is that you I dream,
Hiding in the trees,
As I watch the clouds, way up in the sky
Is that you as an eagle, who is passing by
Please touch me, tell me you love me too
Year after year, I wait for a word from you
You are my flower,
A soul I want to know
Come touch me, my darling
Only your arms will tell me,
You want me so.

Love Is All
Love is all, this I know
For my heart tells me so
There is only you and I
Let our souls touch the sky
In this world, I do see
There is just you and me
Love is all
In ever breath I take
You alone can awake
The deep feeling which I hold
Your face is in my mind
We will be together for all time
My hands are weak next to your
In a room I see only you caressing me
Love is all I need, with you in my arms, tenderly
Forever in one life, you are my partner, it is true
Love is all, take this ring "I, thee wed"
Now and forever, I will love thee best

A Day For Hero's
September 11,2001, is a day for hero's
Let us all remember they gave their life
So we can live in freedom
They were ordinary people
Who went to work, just as you and I
Together, all different colors
All proud American's
Doing their every day jobs
The voice of freedom
A day for hero's, forever true
In the twin towers, on four planes
Fighting for freedom, in The Lord's name
Against terrorists who could not see Our God
A love of country, each and every one
Will forever be remembered
We love you all
You did not believe you were about to die
I feel your pain, and I heard you call
For all the people, one and all
Terror hit, that black Tuesday
You, the innocent, so brave and strong
We love you, you helped fight a very great wrong.

TEARS WILL WASH MY EYES
It was an ordinary day, she had no reason to cry As you walked out the door, You softly wiped tears
from her eyes When you left, she felt empty somehow, she did not know why You called her in horror, with tears
in your eyes You told her planes had struck the twin towers People were dying and you did not know if you would come
home She started to scream, her worse nightmare now real as she heard how these terrorists from Iraq Died for religion
alone. Tears now were washing her eyes Will there ever be peace again Will there only be smoke filled skies Or
will the air clear So all can see the horizon And find freedom from this fear She was so calm when she
heard the news Her husband high-jacked His last words 'Let's roll em' She heard how all the passengers Said
The Lord's Prayer, as friend to friend They stood in a circle Going to their death To reach heaven Led by one
great hockey player to the end. And his precious wife, tears washing her eyes Remembered only a few hours
before How her husband touched her with his hands The sadness had begun, Yet, he died a brave man, On September
eleven, two thousand and one. Let us all remember Those brave men of our land, The women and children Who
died for freedom and the American flag Linda Ann Henry © 2002 Do you remember me The people's poet Linda11231949@aol.com Only when you lose someone for a great cause, do we realize how important freedom and the American
flag truly is.
